Although little is known for sure about the history of Silatious, he is known to be the most ancient Kindred in the city. He served as Sheriff of the city for decades, faithfully enforcing Farragut's laws.

In 2005, Covenant mate Charles Guiteau attempted to break with the Lancaea Sanctum and join another Covenant. This worst of all heresies could not go unpunished and Sil murdered Charles in his own club, the Ambassador Lounge. Punishment was harsh and swift, but without Prince Farragut to order the destruction of Sil and his conspirators, it was commuted until further notice.

Sil was imprisoned in Cook County Jail for the indefinite future. Whether he will be released, or what the conditions will be, are unknown, but out of sight doesn't necessarily mean out of mind for the Kindred of the city and the thought that Sil could be stalking the streets again is enough to trouble even the sleep of the Damned.
