A vampire for near 40 years, Sherman is a newcomer to the courts of the city. Having spent most of his unlife in continuation of his mortal studies, Sherman seldom found time to attend gatherings. However in recent nights his research into the nature of True Names and Lies has prompted him to leave his studies and travel among the circles of the most accomplished liars in the world, the kindred.
An anointed priest of the Lancaea Sanctum and firm believer in the Testament of Longinus, Sherman has been horrified to learn the Sanctified of Chicago have, as a general rule, preached a cold dogma that repulses most kindred. Sherman has dedicated himself to spreading faith, not dogma, to the Kindred of the city. An exotheist, Sherman garbs himself in the vestments of a Catholic priest only to enable those with whom he speaks to see him in easily identifiable terms.
While he likes to think that many of the city's prominent kindred know his name, Sherman has not strongly allied himself with any one faction, or at least not opposed any faction publicly.
